ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Vista del Lago High School first opened its doors for the 2002-2003 school year. At that time, Vista del Lago led in technology and up to date facilities. As our student population and campus grow, we strive to remain up to date in the technology and opportunities available to our students. From our integration of one-to-one Chromebooks to inclusion of computer and manufacturing electives to the development of the new Health Academy building, we strive to prepare students for their future college and career options in an ever-changing world.

We proudly offer opportunities to engage in a variety of athletic programs, over student lead clubs, student leadership, and ap and honors programs at all grade levels.  Additionally, we offer students pathway options to help support them and lead them to their future goals through AVID, Scholars, DLI, Design and Media arts, Engineering technology and design, machining and forming technologies, emergency response, health academy, health administrative services, and public and community health.

At Vista del Lago, supporting student learning for all students is crucial. Through our course offerings, interventions, instructional approaches, and campus opportunities, we strive to prepare all students not just academically but personally. We seek for students to not just growing in their knowledge of content but also in their character through our RAVENS values: Respect, Achieve Value, Engage, Never give up, and Succeed.
