Dear Raven Community,

Welcome to Vista Del Lago High School!

It is with great excitement and a grateful heart that I welcome you to our school community. It is truly an honor to serve as the Principal of Vista Del Lago High School and to partner with our students, families, staff, and community as we continue building on our strong tradition of excellence.

As a first-generation college graduate, I know firsthand how education can change the course of a person's life. That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to helping students discover their strengths, believe in themselves, and realize that their future is full of possibilities. As both an educator and a mother of four, I also understand the trust families place in our schools each day. I consider it a privilege to partner with you in supporting your child's growth and success.

At Vista Del Lago, we are committed to creating a Culture of Excellence where every student is challenged academically, supported personally, and prepared for success in college, career, and life. We believe every student deserves to be known, supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

Our students benefit from a wide range of exceptional opportunities, including Health Academy, EMT, Sports Medicine, Graphic Design, Construction, Engineering, Cyber Security, Dual Language Immersion, Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement (AP), Honors courses, AVID, and our Early Raven College Academy, as well as outstanding athletic, visual and performing arts, leadership, and extracurricular programs. These experiences empower our students to explore their interests, develop their talents, and graduate ready for whatever path they choose.

Our Raven motto reminds us of the values that guide our work every day:

Take care of yourself.
Take care of each other.
Take care of the school.

These simple words reflect the kind of community we strive to build—one where students feel welcomed, valued, connected, and inspired to achieve their goals.

Whether you are a current Raven family or are considering Vista Del Lago High School, I invite you to explore all that our school has to offer and become an active part of our school community. Together, we will continue building on Vista Del Lago's many strengths while creating even more opportunities for our students to learn, lead, and thrive.

I look forward to meeting you and working together to ensure every Raven has the opportunity to succeed.

With gratitude,

Mrs. Oralia Ramzan
